No matter where you’re at in your renewable energy journey, we have resources that can help.

Hear From an Expert:

MRES hosts a monthly speaker series to provide the community with up-to-date, relevant information. Speakers come from technical, policy, business, scientific, and advocacy backgrounds and help to address the many facets of the renewable energy movement. The speaker series meets on the third Thursday of every month.

The MRES Sustainability Tour showcases homes and businesses that feature solar installations, energy storage solutions, water-saving landscapes and much more. Virtually explore the houses on the tour to hear solar-adopters share their planning and installation experiences first-hand, and learn about the cost-savings of sustainable practices and choices to fit your needs.

Join a Solar Co-Op:

MRES has partnered with Solar United Neighbors (SUN) to help bring solar energy to more communities in Minnesota. SUN helps you leverage the power of group negotiation by organizing 50 to 100 neighbors together into a group, or co-op, and providing support through each stage of the solar process. Co-op participants leverage bulk-purchasing power to get discounted pricing and a quality installation, while still signing individual contracts that ensure the right system for your home.

The first step to installing solar is assessing your property's potential. Solar site assessments help determine how beneficial and effective an array of solar panels will be at your property. We come to you!
