Barbara Lunde retired from the Commercial Space Transportation Office of the Federal Aviation Administration. She is now an active MRES board member.

Barbara’s previous solar projects include the steam generating system at the Iowa Capitol Complex, a solar water heating system in Des Moines, IA, and a study of the performance of the solar heating and cooling system at the Raccoon Valley State Bank in Adel, IA. She has had a continuing interest in renewable energy, serving as a volunteer at the solar decathelon, in Washington, DC.
