Large solar electric array, geothermal, extensive day-lighting, and recycled and salvaged materials on a modern office building. Extensive day-lighting strategies are employed, saving energy and improving performance with broad-spectrum natural light. Heating needs are met partially with a geothermal heat pump, which circulates fluid deep down in the earth where it either gains or loses heat depending on the original temperature.
