Four buildings on the Hunt Utilities Group resilient living campus; Old Main, Mani Shop, CobCabin, and ARC'08 offer renewable energy and energy-efficient choices. Each building is loaded with experimental aspects and is a work in progress. They are designed to help us learn how to achieve our goal of constructing buildings that heat and cool themselves, process their own water and help feed occupants. To do this, every building starts withsouthern orientation, high thermal mass, and super insulation. The Old Main Building is one of the four buildings on the HUG Campus.  The 4,500-square-foot Old Main building is currently used for office, meeting and classroom space shared by our educational and outreach group-Happy Dancing Turtle (www.HappyDancingTurtle.org) and was designed and built by Hunt Utilities Group.
