The McGrews wanted to do something for the environment, teach their children, and save energy costs, so they installed a Solar Starter kit at their Eden Prairie home. The Solar Starter Kit makes solar electric affordable and easy-to-monitor. Their favorite part of their system is that they can add one single panel at a time — technology never seen before. The McGrew site also features the K9 Solar Lodge, a revolutionary green shelter that keeps pets safe and secure. This must-see dog house with multiple green technologies was a big hit at the Eco Experience at the 2008 Minnesota State Fair.
